Declaration

Declaration of Conformity

Th90LLC, operator of questandfeast.com, hereby declares that the collection and processing of personal data carried out by this website conforms to the privacy practices described on this page.

Specifically, we declare that: (1) this page describes every category of personal data the website collects and every third-party processor involved in delivering the service; (2) data is processed only on the legal bases stated in Article 4 below; (3) no data is sold to, or shared for the advertising of, third parties; (4) each processing activity listed here corresponds to an actual, current use of the data — nothing is collected without a purpose stated here, and nothing is stated here that we do not do.

This is a self-declaration by the operator. It is not a statement of third-party audit or certification.

Article I

Data We Collect

We collect only the data needed to build, sell and deliver your cookbook:

  • Account data — your email address, when you sign in to view your library of books.
  • Build choices — the world, diet, goal, skill, cooking time and equipment you pick in the cookbook builder. These define the book we generate for you.
  • Order data — your email address and, for printed editions, the shipping address you provide, so your book reaches you.
  • Launch-notify email — your email address, if you ask us to notify you at launch. Used for that notification only.

We do not collect payment card details — payments are handled by our payment provider (Article III).

Article II

How We Use Your Data

  • To generate the personalized cookbook you designed.
  • To take your order, take payment, and deliver your book.
  • To send transactional email about your order (receipts, status).
  • To keep the service working and diagnose faults.

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling beyond the cookbook generation you explicitly request.

Article III

Third Parties

Your data reaches third parties only as needed to deliver the service. None of them are authorized to use it for their own purposes beyond providing the service stated here:

  • Payments — processed by our payment provider (Whop). Card data is entered on their systems and never reaches ours.
  • Printing & delivery — printed editions are produced and shipped by our print partner (Mixam). For physical orders we pass them your shipping address and the print files.
  • Accounts & data storage — accounts and service records are stored with our database provider (Supabase).
  • File storage — book files are hosted on infrastructure operated by Scaleway.
  • Transactional email — order email is sent through Sender.net.
  • Analytics — we may use Google Analytics to understand aggregate site usage. It is loaded only when enabled, and we do not use it to identify individual customers.

Article IV

Legal Bases

Where the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation applies, we rely on these legal bases:

  • Performance of a contract — build choices, account email and order data, used to deliver the book you bought.
  • Consent — the launch-notify email, and analytics where required by law.
  • Legitimate interest — keeping the service working and diagnosing faults.
  • Legal obligation — keeping transaction records we are required to keep.

Article V

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, object to processing, or request a copy of your data in a portable format. Where processing rests on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at questandfeast@amanmachinedream.com. We respond within 30 days.

If you are in the EU/UK and believe we have mishandled your data, you may also complain to your national data protection authority.

Article VI

Retention

Order and transaction records are kept as long as accounting law requires. Account and build data are kept while your account is active. Notify-list emails are kept until the launch notification is sent, or until you ask us to remove them.

Article VII

Children

The service is not directed at children under 13 (16 in the EEA/UK), and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.

Article VIII

Changes to This Page

If we change how we process data, we update this page and the declaration above, and revise the effective date. Material changes are announced on the website.
